The Prologue at the start of the game.

After you smack through some zombies in the opening cutscene you’ll gain control of Juliet standing in front of a gate. Run up to the gate and follow the button prompts to cut the gate open. When you kick it open the zombies behind it will be dazed. Quickly attack them all for some easy one hit decapitations. Once they’re taken care of, some more zombies should shamble onto the scene. Kill them as they come and then make your way through the level to the left.

You’ll run through a parking lot and should shortly see a helicopter fly overhead. After it passes by press forward through the parking lot. You’ll come to a crowd of zombies attacking a Civilian (with an SOS floating over them). Kill the zombies quickly to rescue the civilian. Once they’re safe approach them to be rewarded with some extra coins. After the civilian is airlifted away a bus will come crashing through the parking lot. Approach its open door and board it. Run to the end of the bus and follow the button prompts to chainsaw the back door off.

You’ll exit into an alleyway. Follow it to its end and another bus will crash into the wall at its end, blocking your path. On the wall to the right a pair of sliding doors will open up slightly and some legless zombies will start crawling out. Kill them as they appear; when you’re finished an arrow will appear above the hood of the crashed bus. Approach it and press the prompted button to hop over the hood of the bus and proceed. You’ll see another Civilian trapped on top of a van by some zombies. Clear the area of zombies to rescue the Civilian.

After rescuing the Civilian, you’ll see another bus at the end of the area. Run up to it and press the prompted button to hop inside the bus. As you walk through the bus, another will drive up and ram into it. Juliet will crawl out of the back of the bus. You’ll see another Civilian clinging to the top of a pole under attack by zombies. Clear the zombies away and the Civilian will drop down from the pole. As he does this more zombies will emerge from the ground. After protecting the Civilian from the zombies chainsaw the gate at the end of the area open.

On the other side of the gate you’ll see a brief cutscene after which the Civilian will continue forward through the parking lot. A large group of zombies will appear. Fight them off, protecting the Civilian. After you beat this first group, another brief cutscene will trigger, leading to some more zombies will charge you down. Again, keep them away from the Civilian. When the Civilian reaches the other side of the parking lot he’ll be airlifted away by the rescue copter.

A cutscene will trigger after which you’ll be on a street facing down an item shop. Use it to purchase some new items, upgrades and moves. Once that’s done, press the prompted button to boot open the door on the right. Follow the adjoining alleyway; as you progress you’ll be attacked by a group of zombies. Kill them and when you reach the end of the alley press the prompted button to continue.

You’ll wind up on some stacked lumber with some coins on your right. Run over and grab them to find a collectible Lollipop. Once that’s done continue forward following the adjoining alleyway. You’ll come to a construction site with a pile of pipes that you can chainsaw through. Clear them out of the way and continue forward. You’ll come to a street where you’ll be attacked by a large group of zombies. Kill them all and press forward down the street.

When you reach the end of the street, press the prompted button and you’ll continue on to the helicopter crash site. Here you’ll be attacked by some normal zombies and also by the game’s first named zombie “George.” Zombies with names are more powerful than the standard zombies and should be approached with care. Kill all these zombies and another group of zombies led by a zombie named “Jerry” will appear. Jerry will be holding a gas tank and can spew poisonous gas. His two pals are also of a stronger breed and can take and dish out more damage. Kill off his buddies first and then attack Jerry from the rear. Once they’re dead boot open the gate at the end of the area to end the level.
