Bead and Butt cladding is a popular choice for a number of rooms, and projects, around the home including, but not limited to…
- Bathroom wall panelling.
- Feature walls in kitchens.
- Utility room wall cladding.
- Cladding for Boot rooms.
Whichever room you are looking to upgrade, you can be sure our precision cut bead an butt cladding panels will add value and style to your home.
Bead & Butt MDF cut to size
If you know the panel sizes you need, simply type in the dimensions and we will accurately cut your panels to size. By default, we will always cut your panels from left to right starting with a chamfered edge (no bead) and, if the panels are ordered in multiples of 100mm, finishing with a bead (see photo).
If you would like us to calculate the panel sizes for you we would recommend you visit our Bead & Butt panelling, online ordering page. Here you will be able to select the the height you require, the width of each wall and well will work out the cuts sizes to precisely fit each wall.
Dado rail for bead & butt cladding
If you are planning on installing anything other than full height panels, you may want to consider our dado rail for bead and butt cladding. The dado is designed with a 9mm rebate to sit slightly (10mm) over your panels and to avoid any unsightly cracks or joins where they meet.
Our dado provides the perfect solution to finish off your bead and butt project and its profile has been chosen to compliment the period character of the cladding and the room it will be used in.
We also provide a good quality, universal, adhesive and caulk for fixing your cladding panels and dado.
OUR DRIVERS, OUR VANS
Our preferred method of delivery is to use our own vehicles and dedicated drivers. This allows us to ensure your order is handled with care and minimise packaging. It also helps us to reduce waste and do our bit for the environment.
Our drivers will make every effort to deliver your order to your door and handover in person. If this is not possible, we will, unless you have instructed us otherwise, leave your order in a secure location or with a neighbour.
On the rare occasions the above is not an option, we will return your order to our workshop and arrange to redeliver. There will be an additional cost to re-deliver.
Our drivers will only deliver to a ground floor, front door. They cannot take packages into rooms or up/down stairs as they are not insured to do so.
Our drivers may need a hand to unload panels over a certain size or weight.
3RD PARTY COURIERS
For certain sized packages and some locations, it is more suitable to use a courier. As there is an increased risk of damage using this method, we do our best to ensure the packages are wrapped to the best possible standard to minimise that risk.
Palletised deliveries
In some instances (custom/bespoke orders) we may need to use a pallet service for specified deliveries. This will be on larger, offline orders and pre-arranged with the customer at the time of ordering.
If you are expecting a palletised delivery you will need to ensure you have either a forklift, or the manpower to unload the pallet, and somewhere to keep or dispose of the pallet after unloading.
Damages
If the packaging of your order appears to be damaged, please ensure you take a photo before opening.
Some of our packages are packed in MDF so please fully open your order to check if the contents are damaged rather than just the MDF packaging (the latter is often the case).
If your package is damaged, please sign for it as damaged (when possible) and send an email to[emailprotected]within 10 working days of delivery and attaching the photos so we can work out the next steps to replace your order.
Refunds
If we have already cut your order we cannot cancel or refund your order.
Your panels are cut to size your exact specifications and cannot be returned for any reason.
If your panels are damaged, we will offer a replacement. If you have used your damaged panels, we cannot offer a refund or replacement.
